The Wheal Jane Group is based at a former mine site near Truro in Cornwall and comprises:

- Wheal Jane Laboratory – analytical services to global mining, mineral processing and environmental clients
- Carnon Contracting – rock, soil, slope stabilisation and improvement; foundation installations and more
- Wheal Jane Ltd – waste management and recycled aggregate production
With over fifteen years’ experience of Cornish mining related consultancy services, auditing and technical business development, Carrak Consulting Ltd was well placed to work with the Directors at Wheal Jane Group to produce a high-level audit of existing services.
Carrak Consulting Ltd reviewed the resources; client-base; processes; services; and products offered by each company. The findings were reported in a series of SWOT analyses, with synergies and opportunities for collaboration and growth framed in an action plan for consideration by the Board.
